MEET THE HEAD DELEGATES
Say Hello to your new parents!
Rose Jacobs is a senior in the dual BA program between Sciences Po and Columbia, studying political science, political philosophy, and history. She is also one of the Head Delegates of CIRCA’s travel team, a role that has pretty much consumed her life since she stepped foot on Columbia’s campus last year. Rose loves Model UN — and has attended more than 40 conferences, served on 7 Secretariats, and been an Editor at Best Delegate to show it — but she will reluctantly admit to having other interests. In her non-existent free time, she fundraises for political campaigns, tries (and fails) to organize D&D sessions, and texts her rabbi bad takes on Judaism she finds on the internet. She also likes making things out of clay. Rose is excited to see what this upcoming year holds for MUN and will work to maintain a close and compassionate travel team community, despite the absence of travel.
Gabriel Gonzalez is a Junior in Columbia College studying American Politics and International Relations. He is one of the Head Delegates for the Model UN Travel Team, and is also involved in CMUNNY, CMUNCE, and CESIMS. This is Gabriel's third year participating in CIRCA and being part of Columbia's Model UN Team. Outside of CIRCA, Gabriel is in the Undergraduate Recruitment Committee Leadership, as well as the Columbia Undergraduate Law Review. Gabriel loves discussing current political developments, art and architecture, and above all exploring New York City. He can often be found either in Butler Ref or at the Met Fifth Avenue. Gabriel is very excited to serve as a Head Delegate this year, and to guide the team through the unique challenges that come with navigating this virtual world!
We're here to support you in whatever ways that we can! If you ever need anything at all, feel free to reach out!
